I Am An Immigrant – Voices

I love immigrants because I feel that they bring culture and diversity into America. People migrate from all over and have different religions,morals and values and somehow we all connect as one because we all just want to be successful. I feel like immigration is important because people want to come to America for a better life since they aren’t able to receive the same opportunities at home. I think immigrants definitely deserve more respect than they get. A lot of people believe that inviting immigrants to come to America would make things worst for the country but I feel like opposite. Many immigrants have skills and talents that can be extremely useful to America’s economy. I believe our president lacks empathy to treat humans especially immigrants the way they deserve. To deal with immigration I think we have to acknowledge that they should get better treatment.
