“Sometimes I just draw whatever I see, a painting or a chair, or whatever it may be. They’re not good at all but I love doing it.”
Queens, NY
I love to doodle. It helps me tune out the world when people are being annoying and stuff. It gives me such stress relief to doodle.

I do it all the time, when I’m at work, in meetings, when I’m watching television. My entire desk in my office is covered in doodles.

It’s not a serious thing, I just do it for fun, but I do it all the time. It’s one of the most important things in my daily life because it helps me go into my own little world.

One of my favorite things to doodle is a house with a garage and a driveway. I like to doodle mountains with a sunrise, trees, flowers, all kinds of things.

A lot of it is connected to my roots and my childhood. I doodle things I remember from growing up in India.

Sometimes I just draw whatever I see, a painting or a chair, or whatever it may be. They’re not good at all but I love doing it.

It totally helps me express myself. Anytime I’m at a meeting or something, I start drawing my favorite little house.

It makes me feel like that’s where I belong. I feel like I can go inside and that’s my house with my mom inside and I can go inside and be at peace.

When I go into the house, it’s zen. It also helps me bond with people.

I doodle little personal things for them and I can show them my doodles. I think it’s a silly little maternal thing that I love to do. I just have a lot of fun doodling.
